Dear colleagues,
We are glad to announce that Prof. Andrea Malizia and Dr. Riccardo Quaranta are partecipating to the European Radiation Protection Week 2024 that will finish today.
Yesterday Prof. Malizia chair the SESSION 6B: EXPOSURE OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, WORKERS AND ENVIRONMENT FOLLOWING A MAJOR NUCLEAR OR RADIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT OR INCIDENT and presented also a work
entitled "Evaluate the radiological dispersion devices consequences through numerical simulations" developed with the colleagues of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and University of
Pisa. Dr. Quaranta presented a work entitled "Mapping radiation in Italy – An innovative model for monitoring and alarm " developed in cooperation with the Italian Corp of Firefighters (a special
thanks to Ing. Damiano Zurlo and Ing. Roberto Perna).
It has been great also see many colleagues that we do cooperate with since a lot of time like Dr. Gian Marco Contessa and meet new experts worldwide.
